Nail holes to fill~read this

I can't believe I have never heard of this product!  Erase-a-hole has been on the market since'03 and appears to make repairing nail holes in drywall, plaster and wood a breeze.  Retails for $6.95.  As soon as I get my hands on some, I'll give my official review!

Give me COLOR!

Those of you that know me know that I am not a beige/ greige kind of girl. I can appreciate the beauty of a subtle palette in a home, but it just doesn't get me excited like color does!  Being the daughter of a custom home builder, my territory was pretty neutral due to the fact that the homes that we lived in were almost always up for sale.

So the fabric...It's my inspiration for my family room/kids den.  I will not be using Schumacher's Chiang Mai Dragon, but the color way is definitely something I will use as a starting point!

Happy Weekend!

Flip out for this 5,000 Jeff Lewis Kitchen

Hi all!

We are talk'in kitchens again today! At some point in time we all get the itch to remodel our kitchens.  I actually think the number $21,695 for an average cost is low, really low, unless you have a 10x10  or galley kitchen.  Jeff Lewis of Bravo's Flipping Out presents a great option for a "Kitchen Makeover" let's call it.  I really love this idea especially for people who want to move in the next 5 years.
Need a second opinion on a "Kitchen Makeover".  I am happy to share ideas and resources with you!
Just contact me, Kristie, at kfeeback@danberry.com:)

In 2010, a "minor" kitchen remodel cost an average $21,695, according to Realtor magazine. But by making smart additions, like a very functional kitchen island ($200), and relying on cosmetic changes (counter tops and a new coat of paint), Lewis was able to revamp his outdated kitchen for under $5,000. And seeing as how Remodeling magazine estimates that homeowners usually recoup just over 70 percent of their investment in pricier kitchen projects, Lewis' wallet-friendly tips can save homeowners a bundle.

To see just how far $5,000 can take you, watch the full video below.
