As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to collect Something. By nature I do not like a lot of clutter or nick nacks, but a collection en masse has always made my heart skip a beat. So...why have I not started my own? I think my fear is it looking too dust covered granny or messy.

Okay, here's my annoying Realtor note: If your house is For Sale pack up your collection. You want buyers focusing on your home not your beloved items, it can be very distracting.

I used to collect all sorts of things. As a child I collected China Dolls. As a High School Student and College Student I collected Disney Movies (which have now come in handy to use for my kids!) But most of my collections spend a lot of time "collecting dust." These days I tend to collect things that aren't "trinkets" but are more useful... like puzzles (love to do these with my kids!), and wine (you can never have enough wine, right???)
